Liverpool is a city brimming with heritage and culture. It has a strong maritime history and its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site is down to its stunning Waterfront and amazing architecture.
We depart our local pick up area and make a leisurely lunch stop to enable you to purchase lunch. We then continue our journey to our hotel with time to settle in before dinner.
Today we have free time to explore the vibrant city of Liverpool. The city centre is packed full of shopping opportunities with Liverpool One - the new shopping destination offering a host of outlets. The Royal Albert Dock is an area that has been renovated and rejuvenated over the years, featuring the largest collection of Grade I listed buildings in the whole country. As well as this, the Dock is home to award-winning attractions such as the Tate Liverpool for the art lovers and The Beatles Story - the world's largest permanent exhibition. You can also find the Merseyside Maritime Museum and the International Slavery Museum (any attractions are payable locally).
We board our boat, the Floating Grace, at Albert Dock and enjoy a relaxing cruise down Liverpool's historic docks as you are served your 2 course Sunday Lunch. A glass of bubbly is served on arrival.
After breakfast we depart our hotel and make a leisurely lunch stop to enable you to purchase lunch before we continue our journey home.
