Banbury & Thenford Gardens - June 2024

When Michael and Anne first bought their grade I listed house, built in early 1760's it was surrounded by a wild overgrown and often dilapidated woodland at Thenford - little did they realise that some 43 years later it would be surrounded by magnificent gardens and renowned Arboretum - that you can visit and enjoy today!  An impressive and award-winning garden with more than 3,000 different trees and shrubs, extensive herbaceous borders, water gardens, sculpture gardens, canal and lakes.  Plus many rare plants collected by well known plant men.  We also visit the lovely riverside market town of Banbury with time to explore.  A superb tour by Frances.  Price includes admission and tour.
