Experience the true atmosphere of bustling East End stalls with a trip to Columbia Road Flower Market. On Sundays, the street is transformed into an oasis of foliage and flowers. Everything from bedding plants to 10-inch banana plants. Trees will be up for grabs. The air intense with the scent of
flowers and the chant of the barrow boys ‘Everythin A Fiver’. Flower sellers grow their own plants and also import flowers from around the world. It is one of the few streets in the country comprising of sixty independent shops, vintage clothes stores, English and Italian delis, garden and antique
shops. There is a wealth of pubs, cafes and restaurants.
