Ramsgate & Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial Museum

Situated on the historic RAF airfield at Manston in Kent, the museum is situated a short distance from Ramsgate and Margate on the east Kent coast and holds a collection of historic artefacts from the Second World War including the Supermarine Spitfire.  The museums is free to visit but they are very grateful for any donations received.  You can also book online to try their 30 minute simulator to experience what it is like to fly a Spitfire equipped with authentic Spitfire controls (cost £30 per person).  This most be booked in advance direct with the museum on their website.
