Royal Courts of Justice

To London for free time to purchase lunch before our timed entrance at The Royal Courts of Justice, an enchanting building on London's Fleet Street.  The building is reminiscent of a cathedral in both style and scale.  Soaring arches and beautiful stained glass windows ornamented with the coats of arms of Lord Chancellors and keepers of the Great Seal, combined with a mosaic marble floor leading to a maze of enchanting corridors to create a majestic setting or exciting visit in one of london's best kept secrets.  You will get to see all of the courts' most stunning rooms (Great Hall, Bear Garden, Painted Room) which appear the same today as they did when Queen Victoria opened the building.  Hear all about the court's fascinating history and most famous cases and see the Judicial Robing Gallery.  Find out about some of the TV and movies that have been filmed here such as Skyfall; Mission Impossible; SILKS and Dr Who.  Subject to court listings on the day, you may get to see a live court case here - a very exciting end to the tour.  Price includes tour.
